About the Artist

ARTIST BIO

Susan Hahn - Biography

I have been a painter full time for the past 10 years since my retirement.  During my working years, as a Superior Court Judge in the State of Washington, time constraints limited my ability to paint often, although I did produce an occasional painting over a 30-year period.  I grew up in Indiana and spent considerable time in Stockholm, San Francisco, and since 1982 in Yakima, Washington.

I live near the Cascade Mountains which are a constant source of inspiration and subject matter.  Additionally, I am drawn to flowers for their texture and color.
